This lawsuit arose out of the Clinton campaign. I'm curious why the Feds have not looked into this long ago. You would think all this stuff about eligibility would have been thoroughly vetted. How insane would it be to elect somebody then find out he/she isn't legal. You can't blame this one on McCain, dead man walking. If it turned out to be true, wonder who President Biden will pick for his veep?

The devil is in the details.
We'll see what the discovery process yields.

Maybe we should take another look at McCain. After all, he was born in the Panama Canal Zone.
And his dad was in the navy. Out of town. A lot.

It pretty much boils down to the fact that the McCain campaign is in free fall. Add Sarah's current ethics dilemma and what you have is a new POTUS, Barack Obama. This is the only detail I'm interested in. Fact is, the lawsuit is frivolous. The most basic of governmental inquiries could certainly put this whole thing to rest. With the level of spying being done on the whole populace of this once free country, there is no way in hell the feds are not on top of this. Here's SNOPES take on the affair. Since they block copying their articles you'll have to go to the source.

The United States Constitution outlines the requirements for President in Article 2. This article of the U.S. Constitution also outlines the many powers of the President and Executive branch of government.

Section 1 of Article 2 of the U.S. Constitution states that a President must:

* be a natural born citizen of the united States
* be at least 35 years old
* have lived in the U.S. for at least 14 years

I submit that each and every state by law must be required to verify the documents received as correct and legal. What document is entered as proof of items 1 and 2? A birth certificate, of course, and one which has an official stamp on it!

There are photos on this page that clearly show the raised stamp and further evidence to support it's authenticity.

Recently FactCheck representatives got a chance to spend some time with the birth certificate, and we can attest to the fact that it is real and three-dimensional and resides at the Obama headquarters in Chicago. We can assure readers that the certificate does bear a raised seal, and that it's stamped on the back by Hawaii state registrar Alvin T. Onaka (who uses a signature stamp rather than signing individual birth certificates). We even brought home a few photographs.
