Hendersonville Historic Seventh Avenue District

Postby Thomas » Sun Oct 31, 2010 1:18 pm

You locals may be aware of this part of Hendersonville. It kind of revolves around the old railway station, refurbished and turned into a model train museum. New businesses are moving to this area, some already open some soon to be including the Underground Baking Company and a produce stand heretofore located in a kind of out of the way place near Lowes. The Railway station lot has been the site of various events including an organic farmer's market and a street festival The Bizarre Bazaar. Pictured below are in order of appearance, Historic Seventh Avenue banner, The railway station, Underground Baking Company's incomplete store front and a scene taken from the recent street festival featuring a kiosk sponsored by the Baking Co. By the way, they sold out so be sure and check them out next month after they open, having moved from a location on Main Street.
