Etowah-
Just watched the video. It sounds great. I would be curious how much the conds would cost.

Too bad Asheville could not agree to this kind of projects. But then we build monstrosity
hotels in Biltmore Villge.

If I was young agian, I would enjoy living there. I wonder if nursing homes and assisted living
homes will go green.

I agree that hotel in Biltmore village is indeed a monstrosity! There are also several overly dense rural developments throughout the area that look terrible, sit with very high unsold/resell rates, and are seemingly unwanted/unnecessary in the "new" housing market. IMO build high density in the city, and very low density in rural/mountain areas.

When, not if, Biltmore Village floods again, I would love to ask Mayor Bellany (hopefully only to the next election, but probably not) about her 'proclamation' that Asheville will manage rain fall run off and that Biltmore Village will not flood again. Never mind that it floods probably on average once a decade.

But it cleared the way for that monolith to be built and dominate the area, and proving developers are the true power in making growth decisions.

I'll go check it when I'm in town in November, and let you know :)
Condo living, no matter how spacious and green, is not for me.

For nursing and AL homes-maybe the upscale ones will go green.
