All I ever did to him was ignore him, which I continue to do.

His own self involvement in himself is clearly his own worst enemy, he must be totally miserable in his own skin.

Everytime mtnrambo registers a new name, I delete it and ban the email address that was used to register it. I've also reconfigured the forum so that I have to manually activate each new member before they can post. mtnrambo's ability to communicate on this forum has been reduced to registering new usernames.

One thing that I have not done up to this point is ban the IP addresses that he's coming from. The reason for this is that one of this other members on this board - a member who has been polite to others both here and on the AC-T is coming from the same address. To block him on the IP address level would also block this other user. That's a step that I don't want to take, but if he keeps this up, may have to.

You missed his initial username registration which was very derogatory towards Y_D and contained a term for female anatomy, not particularly popular with the ladies, c what I mean. I believe Admin has deleted the username and continues to be vigilant as the preceding admin post indicates. These are flash attacks with no purpose but to irritate. I just happened to be logged in and caught it in time to make my comment. Guess the early bird gets the slimy worm.

You are doing a good job, armedlib. I understand your distaste for having to ban someone, but sometimes you have to.
It isnt the mistakes we make that count. It is what we do to fix them that matter.

SUGGESTION

Postby Thomas » Sat May 06, 2006 10:41 am

Wonder if it would be possible to do something to make TODAYS post stand out? Guess it's not important really since the threads are not evaporating every 12 hours or so. :?

Perhaps Thomas' eyes aren't what they used to be. Time to upgrade to a 19" or 21" monitor Thomas?

Actually what I believed he had in mind was an option to "read last 10 postings" or similar.

Thomas,

You could request some bell ringing sounds to go with new posts and popular threads.

But then some of us who cannot see the screen real well and do not
hear worth a darn, we are helpless.

Dylan/Haggard and now my brother, a long time resident of Brevard, manages to tell me that the Civic Center is good only for wrestling. Thanks for the heads up bro. :?
